Stand Up for the Right to March on the RNC to Stop the War

Saturday, March 1 @ 11am @ State Capitol, St. Paul

There will be a rally at the MN State Capitol building, followed by a march to the Xcel Energy Center (future location of the RNC), which will return to the State Capitol.

With 5 years of war and occupation in Iraq, it is very important for the anti-war movement to have a major national protest outside the Republican National Convention in St. Paul when it is held this September.

City officials have been dragging their feet on granting permits for a major march on Sept 1. The Coalition to March on the RNC and Stop the War will be marching their planned route regularly between now and the convention to claim the roads to the Xcel Center for the movement.
