Place to stay
Hello! Although I don't think I'll be protesting at the RNC myself, my partner and I would love to help the cause by opening our home to 1-4 people coming to the area from out of town to protest. We've got an extra bed, futon, and floor space that people could use for sleeping.
We are:
-In the Powderhorn neighborhood in South Minneapolis
-One male, one female
-Vegetarian, and happy to share our food
-Not pet owners
-GLBT identified/friendly
-Active in the sex-positive movement, frequent film goers, readers, general nerds
-Fond of hosting artists, activists, authors, and others and introducing them to our fair city!
Someone who would be a good fit for us would be:
-A non-smoker
-Respectful of our space and hours
-May need to have (or be able to find) his or her own transportation; we may be able to help with this too
-Into art, film, music, GLBT activism, or sex-positive activism (we like networking!)
Contact me (I think you should be able to do that here) if you're interested in staying with us.
Hi James! I'm sorry it's
Hi James! I'm sorry it's taken me so long to reply, for some reason I thought I'd get an email notification when I got a reply so I hadn't checked back until now. If you're still interested in staying with us give me a shout at c-beil@lycos.com

I may be interested
I am a member of Iraq Veterans Against the War and am looking for a safe place to stay when I come to protest. I, too, am a vegetarian and also consider myself a huge fan of art, film and music. Let me know if you are interested in hosting me. I am very low maintenance :-) All I need is a safe roof over my head and compassionate hosts.
Thanks,
James
