WAKE UP WORLD is America's only 6-hour morning show! Half the content, twice the time.
WAKE UP WORLD, the flagship show of the 24/7 INFONEWSMENT NETWORK features "exclusive" interviews with experts and authors those "other" bloated morning shows somehow completely overlooked.
Wake up World will be performing in the Twin Cities September 2nd, 3rd, and 4th presenting BRAND NEW shows each night, bringing you up to the minute convention coverage as seen through the filters of the fictional producers and on-air talent at Wake Up World.
Winstead stars as vapid co-host Hope Jean Paul, who thinks she’s an Elisabeth Hasselbeck wannabe but is really a Kathie Lee wannabe.
Joining Hope on the couch is Davis Miles, played by Broadway actor and stand-up comic extraordinaire Baron Vaughn. If Ryan Seacrest was taller, more materialistic, and black he would be Davis Miles.
Rounding out the cast is newsbreak girl Emily Rackcheck played by New York actress and Minnesota native Darbi Worley. If you like your news up-to-the-minute, almost accurate and pouring out of a tight sweater, Emily’s your girl!
Wake up World is an indictment - both hilarious and scathing - not only of the newsmakers, but of the news media that molds them. The show gives the audience a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes decision-making at a morning infonewsment show. The only infonewsment show.
But that’s just the first act. On September 2nd and 3rd Minneapolis musician and rock critic Jim Walsh will be hosting a very special hootenanny featuring BILLY BRAGG. September 4th TBD.
And after all that fun, drink away your GOP blues with fellow brothers in arms as we watch the convention live on the big screen TV.
